COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Richland County deputies are investigating a shooting that left two people dead Friday evening.

Officers responded to a house on Woodfield Drive around 7:20pm Friday and found two men who had been shot and killed.

Police say the two victims are Hispanic men in their mid 20's to mid 30's. One of the men was identified as Pablo Guzman-Gutierrez of Columbia. Authorities are waiting to notify the second man's family before releasing his identity.

Deputies says they are looking for at least one suspect who may have been involved in the shootings.

Richland County (WLTX) -- Richland County Deputies are searching for the person they believe shot and killed two men Friday evening.

Details are limited, but officials said they responded to a shots fired call at approximately 7:20 PM.

When deputies arrived on scene, they said they found two males who had both been shot and both were dead.

Officials said the shooting occurred outside of a home on Woodfield Drive in Columbia.

The Richland County Coroner said one of the victims is Pablo Guzman-Gutierrez whose last known address was 8565 Percival Road. The coroner said Guzman-Gutierrez died from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on scene. The coroner is working on identifying the second male victim.

Officials said they are looking for the person who they believe is responsible for the shooting. Officials said the suspect is driving a two-toned van with a tan bottom and a green top. Officials believe the three men knew each other, but are still investigating.

National Night Out means more for one Richland County community this year after two men were murdered in their neighborhood. The National Night Out party was held Tuesday at Woodfield Park Baptist Church.

Edgar Lopez and Pablo Guzman-Gutierrez were killed outside a home on Woodfield Drive. The neighbors seem to be handling the incident well, despite the fact the murder happened less than a mile from where some of them live.

"I've raised my four kids here," said Woodfield Park resident Daisy Misale, who organized this national night out celebration.

She's planned it for weeks, a time for her neighbors to reconnect with police and share a hot dog or two. But this National Night Out is different for Woodfield Park. A murder investigation is ongoing for the person who killed two men on Woodfield Drive.

It's a sour topic for some neighbors at a party based on crime prevention. "I love Woodfield ParK," said Misale. "I hate what's happening to Woodfield Park."
